ToolsQuant II Fast RT Kit

ToolsQuant II Fast RT Kit is designed for the first strand cDNA synthesis with high efficiency and able to rapidly remove genomic DNA (gDNA). To avoid the contamination of gDNA, the kit contains gDNA Eraser that effectively remove gDNA (42°C, 3 min). It takes only 15 min (42°C) to complete the synthesis of first strand cDNA by using the innovative RT enzyme. This product also has a high affinity for RNA, which enables efficient and sensitive reverse transcription of any template, such as GC rich and complicated secondary structures of template RNA, leading to high yields of cDNA.

Q1. The ct value has increased after using Quant II.
A: The best amount of RNA for RT is 1ug. We suggest you adjust the concentration of RNA and see if the results has altered.

Q2. The efficiency of cDNA synthesis using Quant II is not good.
A: Please check the length of your target gene. The best length is 4kb.

Q3. Will there be any effect if we skip the 95 degrees for Quant II?
A: The purpose is for the enzyme incativation, so it is necessary.

Q4. What is the formula of the primer of Quant II?
A: The primer inculeds random primer and oligo dT, which is 1:1.

Q5. Can Quant II be used for the RNA of E.coli?
A: Yes. Our primer is random primer and can be used for E.coli system.

Q6. Is RNA imput less than 50ng suitabl for Quant II?
A: Not recommended. Please use at least 50ng according to protocol.

Q7. Can Quant II be used for virus?
A: Yes

Q8. What is the suggested concentration if I only want to use oligo dT or random primer, respectively?
A: We suggest you refer to our protocol. 50pmol with the final volume of 20ul. For specific primer the concentration would be 5pmol.
